The event, which was held at a very high standard, was attended by members of the Puntland government, including the Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Hon. Abdirizak Abdullahi Hagaag, the Minister of Health, Hon. Saeed Jama Qoorsheel, the Deputy Minister of Ports, Hon. Farah Ali Ahmed, and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hon. Ahmed Said Qambi.

Also in attendance were members of the Puntland Parliament, regional and district leaders, leaders of the fishing industry, religious scholars, elders, university leaders, Citycot University students, and many other distinguished guests.

During the ceremony, officials praised Citycot University for introducing a significant faculty that focuses on improving the country’s productivity and fostering societal development.
