Job Summary:
The Lecturer in Marine Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate in Marine Science and Fisheries Management, conducting high-quality research, supervising students, and contributing to the academic and professional development of the Faculty. The role requires active participation in curriculum development, departmental activities, and community engagement projects related to marine and coastal resources.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Teaching & Learning
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Marine Science and fisheries management.
- Develop, update, and implement course materials, syllabi, and innovative teaching methods.
- Supervise undergraduate student projects, research, and field training.
- Academic Support & Supervision
- Mentor and advise students on academic progress, research, and career development.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, presentations, and practical work.
- Community Engagement & Service
- Participate in community outreach projects related to marine and coastal resource management.
- Provide expert advice to the University and stakeholders in fisheries and marine conservation.
- Institutional Development
- Contribute to the academic growth and reputation of the Faculty of Marine Science.
- Actively participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees.
- Support the development of research collaborations and partnerships.
