CITYCOT University pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Multimedia Lecturer at our esteemed University. As a multimedia lecturer, you will have the opportunity to shape the minds of future multimedia professionals and contribute to the growth of our institution. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who can bring their expertise in multimedia to provide a stimulating learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Developing course outline and instructional materials.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, seminars, and workshops on topics such as multimedia design, digital storytelling, video production, graphic design, animation, and web development.
• Provide hands-on training to students in the use of multimedia tools, software, and equipment, guiding them through practical projects and assignments.
• Design and implement effective assessment methods to evaluate students’ understanding and progress in multimedia subjects, including exams, projects, and presentations.
• Offer guidance and support to students, assisting them in their academic and career development in the field of multimedia.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in multimedia technology, industry practices, and educational strategies, and incorporate them into teaching methodologies.
• Prepare and deliver lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
• Develop and update course materials, assignments, and learning resources.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Stay abreast of emerging multimedia technologies and industry trends through continuous professional development.
• Participate in academic and administrative activities, such as faculty meetings, curriculum development, and student advising.
• Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, and presentations in the field of multimedia.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or any other related fields.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in various aspects of multimedia, such as graphic design, video production, animation, and multimedia storytelling.
• Substantial professional experience in the multimedia industry, including working with multimedia tools, software, and technologies.
• Prior experience in teaching and developing projects in multimedia is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies and multimedia-based instruction is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex multimedia concepts and engage students in the learning process.
